What’s the best place to rent with bad credit?

I don’t know where you live so this is harder to answer. If you look on craigslist for your area you can find places that rent to people with poor credit.
I have bad credit too, and I think it’s ridiculous that I can’t rent because I got myself into too much debt to go to college.
The smaller the business the less likely they are to do a credit check. I still think you must drive around neighborhoods that you would care to live. You may pull ideas out of the paper or off the Internet but I would check how they look before I would talk to them. Be sure to let them know you have previous landlords that will vouch for your paying on time.
