What’s the best credit card to apply for if a person is trying to reastablish their credit (has bad credit)?

I’m looking for an UNSECURED credit card - one that will start me off with at least a little bit of available credit no matter how high the interest rates are.
I already have the Orchard Bank card and the HSBC one too. I received a First Premier Bank card application and it says that I will have $72 available credit on it if I’m approved for the minimum credit limit of $250. Just wondering if there are any better unsecured credit cards out there than these?

TRY A SECURED VISA OR MASTERCARD FROM:

WELLS FARGO
http://WWW.WELLSFARGO.COM

OR

BANK OF AMERICA
http://WWW.BANKOFAMERICA.COM

BOTH OF THESE ARE LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPANIES AND THIS WOULD LOOK GREAT IN YOUR CREDIT PROFILE.

GOOD LUCK :-)

A secured card is a far quicker way to “prove” you aren’t a risk.

Pay the fee for American Express green card…

Not really, those are the big three for reestablishing credit.

Hooters Credit Card is a good one. I didn’t believe it at first, but truly, it’s a good card for re-establishing credit. You can apply at http://www.hooters.com

I just got of a BK and they gave me one.

You are already on the road to establishing good credit. Keep paying on time and keeping your balance low. Time is on your side and your credit score will go up. Soon you will be offered better deals with higher limits and lower interest rates. I wouldn’t go for the First Premier Card. It sounds like with a bit more history, 6 months maybe, you might be offered a no fee card.
