None. Having any credit card will further ruin your credit history. your best getting in the clear before considering getting onto more debt.
best of luck
Some banks offer secured credit cards where you have to put up a deposit to cover your charges for a designated period (I think 18 months). After that they will consider giving you an unsecured card based on your payment history and you will get your deposit back along with a little interest. Be sure that you go to a reputable bank because there are some scammers out there. I think Capitol One Bank has them.
The credit line was small to keep me out of trouble. I always paid the balance in full each month and each month it reported to all 3 credit bureaus. It took a while, but it did help me build up my credit. After 3 years of being VERY VERY CAREFUL, I have rebuilt my credit to a really nice score.
There are quite a few credit cards out there these days that cater towards those with less than perfect credit. A lot of it depends on how bad your credit really is. You don’t want to waste time applying for a card that will only approve people with excellent credit - so it’s good to know what level of credit is needed for particular credit cards. The best thing you can probably do is visit a credit card comparison website that allows you to view credit card offers based on how good your credit is. You can then compare offers for “bad credit cards” and figure out which one will be the best fit for you.
